Tagine Spice
Tagine Blend No.19 - Synonymous with Morocco, the Tagine is used throughout the Middle East and North Africa. The name tagine relates to the cone-shaped cooking pot used to cook food slowly, the pot traps the steam created by the cooking process which then drops back into the stew. Ideal for regions where water is scarce the slow cook intensifies the flavours whilst making the meats tender.
Our spice blend will give you that authentic flavour and will work just as well with a slow cooker, a heavy or cast-iron pot if you do not have a Tagine. Mouth watering and easy to prepare it can slowly cook in the oven making it a wonderful meal to come home to on a workday. Preparation is quick and you can either do it in the morning or the evening before, just leave it in the fridge overnight.
